Zamioculcas is a genus of flowering plants in the Araceae family, containing the single species Zamioculcas zamiifolia. It is a tropical perennial plant native to East Africa, from southern Kenya to south-eastern South Africa. The ZZ plant has attractive dark green leaves, which make it best for offices and homes.
