Portulacais also known as the 10 o’clock plant because it blooms around 10 a.m. in India, which makes it a very interesting plant. Portulaca flowers are very beautiful in various garden conditions and landscapes and are used to decorate walkways. Purslane is another key to the outstanding drought tolerance of succulent flowering perennials. Many varieties of portulaca have semi-double or double-petaled flowers, similar to roses in miniature flowers, and bloom in bright colours such as yellow, orange, red, and pink. White, cream and multi-coloured flowers are also available.
