Air Purifying Plants Care Instructions
Light Requirements
- Aglaonema Siam Aurora: Thrives in low to moderate indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn.
- Peace Lily: Prefers low to moderate indirect light. Bright light can help it bloom, but avoid direct sun.
- Philodendron Burle Marx: Enjoys bright, indirect light but can adapt to lower light settings.
- Rhaphidophora Pertusa: Does best in bright, indirect light but can tolerate moderate light. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering
- Aglaonema Siam Aurora: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
- Peace Lily: Water when the soil feels dry to the touch, usually once a week. Drooping leaves indicate it needs water.
- Philodendron Burle Marx: Water when the top inch of soil is dry, usually every 1-2 weeks. It prefers slightly moist soil but not soggy conditions.
- Rhaphidophora Pertusa: Water once the top inch of soil feels dry, around every 1-2 weeks. This plant appreciates moderate moisture.
Humidity and Temperature
- All plants in this combo enjoy a humid environment, around 50-60% humidity, and thrive in typical indoor temperatures between 65-80°F (18-27°C). Increase humidity if possible by misting or placing a humidifier nearby, especially during dry winter months.
Soil Requirements
- All four plants thrive in a well-draining, nutrient-rich potting mix. Adding perlite or orchid bark can enhance drainage, preventing waterlogged roots. These plants also enjoy a mix that retains some moisture, ideal for maintaining their humidity needs.
Fertilizing
- Feed each plant once every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer. Avoid over-fertilizing, as this can lead to salt buildup in the soil. Fertilizing isn’t necessary during fall and winter when growth slows.
Pruning and Maintenance

Repotting
